The Girls on the Run at Lincoln completed the 5k in downtown Chicago this weekend.
We ran along the lakeshore and through beautiful sites in the city. Thirty-one of the students were able to attend and complete the 5k.
We want to thank everyone at Lincoln and the PTO for their support, including the generous contribution from the Lincoln PTO of the bus that got us from Lincoln to Grant Park.
We will finish out our season in the next few weeks focusing on a community service project in addition to continuing our focus on exercise.
