Welcome to the Lincoln Family! The Lincoln School PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is a non-profit organization run by a volunteer team made up of teachers, staff, parents, and guardians of students attending Lincoln Elementary School. We strive to provide programs and resources that enrich our students’ experience, support our educators and staff, and create a sense of community for our families. 

Our mission is to encourage and promote effective relationships among Lincoln students, parents, teachers, and the Lincoln community. We are dedicated to develop united efforts amongst students, parents, teachers, and administrators to secure an inclusive and equitable education and school experience for every Lincoln student.

Every parent or guardian who has a student at Lincoln is a member of our Lincoln Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).

DONATE 

Our PTO programs and events help support the school and ensure our children's experience at Lincoln is more than just academics. Our focus as a PTO is enriching the lives of our children and teachers with the support of parents, guardians, and the community.

• We enrich our students lives by providing after school programming and promoting Lincoln pride through t-shirts and more. 
• 70% of our budget supports teachers by organizing conference dinners, providing grants, coordinating teacher appreciation week and more. 
• We involve parents and guardians by hosting parent night out. 
• We enhance the voice of our community by hosting monthly meetings to work together to provide a better experience for all 
• And many more ...

But.....for every dollar out we have to find a dollar and are 100% funded on donations from donors.  As a 501(c), your donation is tax deductible and will go to support our initiatives, programs, and events.  

JOIN OUR MEETINGS

Lincoln PTO meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month from 6:00PM-7:30 PM in Lincoln's Media Center with the option to join virtually. Childcare and pizza will be provided for all that attend. 

Why attend? All teachers and parents/guardians are members of the PTO once enrolled at Lincoln.  By attending meetings, you will gain insight into what is happening at the school, receive updates by Principal Gordon, programs and events the PTO is working on, and the opportunity to bring your voice and ideas to the PTO.  PTO Meetings are also a great way to socialize with other parents and the Lincoln staff.

VOLUNTEER

PTO runs on the help of our parents, teachers, and community. There are many ways to get involved throughout the year. 

The most impactful way is to hold a role that helps shape the direction of the PTO.   We also host events throughout the year that need leads to manage.  We always need volunteers on the day of any event, and support in school programs.  Finally, we welcome specialty talents in areas like our digital platforms, fundraising, non profits, and really anything else.  Please review the roles below to see where your talents and passions meet.
