Our next PTO Meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 19th @ 6PM at the Lincoln School Media Center.

Why attend? Every Lincoln parent, guardian, and teacher is automatically a PTO member. Attending gives you the scoop on school happenings, updates from Principal Rehfield, and a chance to share your ideas. Plus, it's a great way to meet other parents and staff!

Join us from 6:00-7:30 PM on Wednesday, November 19th in person at the Media Center at Lincoln School.

Special Guest on Nov. 19! We are excited to welcome special guest, Catina Burris, our school’s math interventionist, at our next meeting!

  • Catina will guide families in seeing math as more than just counting—it's about discovering patterns, relationships, and reasoning.
  • Through engaging Number Talks, she’ll demonstrate how short, fun activities can help kindergartners (and beyond!) think flexibly about numbers.
  • You’ll walk away with practical tips and strategies to make math more meaningful—and more fun—at home.

A Message from the Lincoln PTO

Lincoln Families,

As our community faces quite a bit of uncertainty during this time, we are organizing to be ready to provide support as needed to our community. Privacy and safety are the top concerns, so our plan is to have a list of resources to be able to provide to the school so they can best support our families.

If you are available and interested in supporting this effort, please submit your information here.

If your family is in need of assistance, please don’t hesitate to fill out this form. Your privacy is extremely important to us, and your information will remain confidential—shared only with a small, trusted group dedicated to providing immediate support and solutions.

🎃 3rd Annual Halloween Costume Exchange: A Spooktacular Success!

Our 3rd Annual Halloween Costume Exchange took place on September 27, and it was a hit! About 20 families came out to donate or pick up costumes, helping make Halloween a little more fun — and sustainable — for everyone.

All remaining costumes were donated to UCAN in North Lawndale for their Trunk or Treat event on Halloween, as well as to a Lawndale Pop-Up Spot staff member hosting a Halloween celebration on October 30.

Thank you to everyone who donated, participated, and helped spread the spirit of giving this spooky season! 🧡👻
